{Sew So Cute} Bow Berry Baskets

Happy Friday everyone!

Today I’m so excited to show you our new item we just added to our Etsy Shop.

Berry Baskets are becoming so very popular in the party world these days and we just love them.

They are not only adorable but so unique.

Fill them with apples and you have a back to school teacher gift. For that matter you can fill them with a tablet and pen or just about anything else you can think of.

You’re sure to be the teacher’s pet.

You can also use them for a little picnic lunch or a fun way to serve just about any treat.

Who wouldn’t want to receive goodies in one of these cuties?

Just fill with a little tissue paper or red raffia like we did here then add your treat.

I couldn’t resist getting these mini vintage coke bottles.  They fit just perfectly.

Berry Baskets aren’t just for berries anymore.

How would you like to use yours?

{Sew, So Cute} Adorable Polka Dot and Ruffle Pillows

What girl doesn’t love Polka Dots and Ruffles?  I know I do!

On a recent shopping spree, I found this gorgeous grey and black polka dot fabric and knew I had to have it and do something special with it.

   Don’t you just love it?

Grey and Black is so trendy right now, both in fashion and home decor.

The fabric looks pretty as a dress, but it is downright adorable as a pillow.

See what I mean? It just makes you smile.

But wait, I also mentioned ruffles, didn’t I?  I hit the jackpot on this shopping trip not only with polka dots, but ruffles too! PINK ones!

With ruffles turning up everywhere I knew I couldn’t pass this up.  So, what did I do with this fabric?

Made more PILLOWS, of course!

       I’m in love!!!

Both of these pillows would be perfect for your office, bedroom, living room, you name it.

Any girl would love to find one of these pillows under the tree for Christmas this year. Or maybe sooner. I won’t tell!

That’s exactly what we did at ours. These cute black and white cotton polka dot bags were a big hit at our Halloween bash as every guest left the party with a bag filled with  some special treats. The sweet orange and black ribbon at the top makes sure no goodies will be lost (not to mention it makes it so cute).

These little cuties can also be used as wedding or bridal favors too  just with a change of the ribbon.

{So Cute DIY} Candy Corn Garland

Since I’m devoting this week to “Candy Corn” ideas, I was so happy to  stumble upon a great tutorial for a darlin’ garland on the Poppytalk blog. It’s so easy, give it a try. So here we go…

(Images via the Poppytalk blog.)

Candy Corn Garland Instructions

1.) First, you will need to draw the shape of a candy corn about 4-5 inches long and 2-3 inches across.(basically a triangle shape with rounded edges. See, that wasn’t hard). The size is really up to your individual preference.(if you’re using it for a backdrop—go larger, for table top—smaller.

2.) Get yourself some cardstock in white, orange and yellow.

3.) Cut out the 3 shapes and tape them together with clear tape.(make several)

4.) To assemble your garland,  sew the corn shapes together. Lay them out on the floor or  table top to determine how long you want them to hang. (you can use orange thread to sew on the back side. (no sewing machine–no worries, just tape the thread to backside.)  Space the corn  about 2-3″ apart. Decide how long you want the garland to hang and that will determine how many corns you will need on the thread.

5.) You’re ready to hang them up and have a Candy Happy Halloween!

I’d love to see your pics!

{Sew Cute} Tulle Embellished Linen Pillows

Tulle isn’t just for tutus any more. : )

When I was working on the Lemonade Photo Shoot last week, I got inspired to design these  super fun pillows. Since I’m a lover of tulle  and had several bolts of these yummy flavors just screaming to be used, I  decided to embellish the pillows with them.

I can’t decide which color is my favorite. Are you like that also? I’ve already decided where a few of them are headed. How about a nursery or a  little girl’s room …wait, why should they have all the fun? I want some in my room too!

The pillows are a beautiful  linen, size 16 x 16 inches wrapped in these gorgeous colors of shimmery tulle.  The poms give them just the right amount of pizzazz.! They will be available on my ETSY shop soon. Until then, if you are interested in purchasing, leave me an email at PartyPatisserie@gmail.com.
