Burlap Beauty

February 16, 2012 by Party Patisserie Filed Under: Create, Decorate 16 Comments

Have you noticed that you can’t pick up a decorating magazine these days without seeing something made of burlap?

Burlap is an inexpensive fabric with lots of texture and is very versatile. I personally really like it. Thought it might be fun to take a look around and see how this fun fabric is being used.

Blessings of a Lifetime

How about creating a chic piece of home decor?  Just wrap a piece of burlap around a canvas , secure and stencil on a pretty design.

Have you thought about maybe wearing burlap. Yep, you can with this cute rosettes bracelet.

Brassy Apple

These rosettes are cute as a bracelet or maybe clip them in your hair or even on your shoes.

How about a burlap bulletin board? Why not spruce up your work area or kitchen by covering a bulletin board with burlap and tacking it down with decorative brads. Pretty!

TIDY MOM

This next idea is kind of a novel one.

Want to make your business cards stand out?

Back them with burlap fabric and fringe around the edges.

This is one card you won’t forget.

Carolyn Homework

White House Black Cat

How about this adorable bunny pillow?  Too cute!

And finally, we got in the act too.

Our  “SO ‘TWEET” baby bunting is so sweet accented with beautiful satin ribbons on the ends.

Perfect way to welcome baby home~notice the little birds on the ends? You can purchase the banner here.

Well, I hope you enjoyed this l”Burlap Beauty” and it inspires you to add some burlap to your home.
