{Sweet Treats} Are you ready for some Football?

February 3, 2012 by Party Patisserie Filed Under: Party Themes 2 Comments

The big day that our husbands/boyfriends have been waiting for is almost here.

Okay, I like football and will watch it,  but truthfully, I prefer getting all the snacks and decorations ready a little more. I really look forward to our friends & family getting together to make merry on this big day.

I’ve gathered up some ideas to get us started, so we better get going~the clocks a ticking.

To start, it might be fun to make Seven Layer Bean Dip in individual  glass jars. I love this idea! Then everyone can grab one and move around freely. You can get these little canning jars at Walmart.

How about we add a little Sweet & Spicy Pretzels to the mix?

Recipe is here~via Martha Stewart

Any Guacamoli lovers?  This is so fun!

Up next we have some Whoopie Pies shaped like what else? Footballs.

All this fun eating going on~ maybe we should add something a little more healthy.

Strawberries. Chocolate Strawberries that is. Couldn’t resist these.

Recipe here

What’s that you say?  You’d like a few more to pick from?  Okay!

Round up via 20 going on 80

1. Football Cake Pops from Baked With Love & Butter
2. Football Pizza from Kraft
3. Football Cheese Ball from Kraft
4. Chocolate Football Whoopee Pies from Spencer and Hilary
5. Football Cupcakes from Betty Crocker
6. Football Deviled Eggs from My Recipes
7. Game Day Juice Box from And Everything Sweet
8. Football Cheese and Crackers from Give Me Some Oven
9. Football Shaped Brownies  from Taylor Takes A Taste
10. Popcorn Football Field Printable from Kara’s Party Ideas
11. Football Chocolate Covered Strawberries from Shari’s Berries
12. Football Sugar Cookies from Catch My Party
13. Football Andes Mint Cake from Martha Stewart
14. Football Peanut Butter Crispy Bars from Snack Picks

And finally~some inspiration from Wants & Wishes including their football pack printables.

Be sure to check out Wants & Wishes for the printables.

So there you have it. I hope we have inspired you to get your game on!
