{Sweet Inspiration} Pinwheel Pretty

May 9, 2012 by Party Patisserie Filed Under: Sweet Inspirations 17 Comments

Pinwheels are such a fun summertime decoration.

I’ve always loved them and it seems I’m seeing them everywhere these days.

They’re not just a child’s toy anymore.

People are getting pretty creative with their uses for this colorful, twirly paper on a stick.

Whether it’s a birthday party,  shower,  wedding favor, yard or table decor, they are certainly making a splash in the party world.

How about gift or favor box toppers?

I’m in love with this idea!

Here, it’s used as a shower favor, but a child’s gift would be fun to top off.

In fact, why not put it on a package for mom. I know I’d love to receive it.

Using the Pinwheel in weddings is becoming more and more popular.

I can certainly see why.

Playful wedding invites to adorable seating cards to table markers and boutannere.

Why not forgo the flowers,  this is so much more fun!

Party food.

Outdoor decor too!

I do too Lindsay. That’s Shana’s hand corsage that I featured with the pearl band.
Wouldn’t it be great for a wedding!

Such fun ideas! I think pinwheels remind us of our childhood so they bring out the kid and fun in all of us.
