Taffy Apples

October 12, 2012 by Party Patisserie Filed Under: Cook 8 Comments

Now that the weather is changing and there’s a chill in the air, it reminds me of apple picking time.

Every year as a family, we head out for a trip to the apple orchard which is only about 45 minutes from our house.

It’s been a tradition with us for some time now.  Guess it signifies fall has arrived.

Upon arrival we park and head over to the flat bed truck which has bunches of hay on it.

We grab a spot to sit as we head out to the orchard with our bussels in hand.  Ofcourse, we always pick more than we can eat so, what to do with the extra apples?

Why make Taffy Apples of course!

Here’s a lttle inspiration for your apples.

Thanks Donna and Michelle! I love making taffy apples. It all started with my mom making them with me when I was growing up.
