Strawberry Banana Popsicles

August 26, 2013 by Party Patisserie Filed Under: Cook 2 Comments

We have had such a wonderful summer and the weather has been great! This week, however, we are in the high 90’s.

One thing that always hits the spot when it gets like this is something frozen.

Since I just made a trip to Costco and returned with a ton a fruit, I thought I’d whip up some popsicles.

I love the combination of strawberry and banana together and it’s

a favorite around here, not to mention a fun way to get your fruit servings.

After I made the popsicles I removed them from the mold and wrapped them individually in freezer paper to make it easier for the family to just grab and go.

Directions are so simple:

Strawberries-  Clean & cut up a pint or two (depends on your blender size) of strawberries and put into blender.

Bananas-  Add 2 ripe bananas cut up into large chunks.

Honey or Sugar –  2 Tablespoons of honey  or 1/8 cup of sugar (your preference)

Cold Water- about 1 cup

  1. In a blender, blend together the  strawberries, bananas,  sugar and water for about 3 minutes, or until smooth.
  2. Pour the mixture into a popsicle mold then add the wooden stick
  3. Freeze for at least 3 to 4 hours.

There you have it. They are so refreshing, simple and delicious.  So make some and stay cool!!!

Have a sweet day!!!!
