Halloween Party

October 24, 2013 by Party Patisserie Filed Under: Celebrate Leave a Comment

Hello dear friends,

Today I’m going to feature my Halloween Party.

On a personal note, my sweet mother is very ill and I have been by  her side in the hospital.  I’m home momentarily to gather my things and head back to her. Luckily I have 3 sisters and 1 brother who are spending time with her as well in the hospital. I’m dropping in to explain to you, my dear followers.  Thank you for understanding!♥

Hope you enjoy my Black & White Halloween from a couple of years ago.

I began by painting my pumpkins black and added the white polka dots.  Then for a huge splash of color I made the 2 color tissue poms. DIY here

Fun chalkboard glasses I purchased at Pier One  two years ago and they still sell them.

Next I made my burlap BOO banner and black & white polka dot treat bags. (these are both available in my Etsy. click here and here.

I love witches shoes and made the invites and the cards in the popcorn,  for added decor.

Using a rubber stamp, markers, cardstock and Presto.  For added cuteness I made a witch broom. Tooth pic and a little thread embellishment did the trick. (front side)

Next I made the cupcakes. Added purple stars that I cut out from taffy.(the color purple didn’t show up here in the photo. Much prettier in person) I love to add gumballs for added interest and pops of color. An little orange tutu helped highlight the cupcakes on the table and again gave it added interest.

Little ghosts I made by rolling out fondant draping it over marshmallows.

Black licorice helped to make this table complete when I made these scary trees.

Thanks for understanding!
