Hello everyone! I’d like to wish you a very Happy New Year!!! Hope you all enjoyed the holidays with your family and friends. It’s so hard to believe it’s over and on to 2014. But before we move on I wanted to share with you a few things.
I’d like to begin by Thanking all of you for following my blog. It’s great to see our followers grow on the blog and all our social media channels! And I’d also like to thank you for hanging in with me. (More about that in a minute.)
I was so thrilled and thankful this past year to be posting for Tiny Prints blog. Our Welcome Home Baby Party inspired the Tulle Pom DIY and then there was the Halloween Witches Brew which is a fun recipe. And finally, A Sparkly New Year’s Eve DIY. I love coming up with party ideas, and being inspired by their wonderful selection of cards! And I’m really looking forward to more great posts with Tiny Prints in 2014!
I’m also thankful and honored to have been chosen by POPSUGAR select as one of their bloggers and blogger of the week. PopSugar is always so inspiring and it’s wonderful to be a part of their team.
I’m once again thrilled to be voted into the Top 25 Party Planning blogs of 2013 in the Circle Of Moms and thank you so much for voting for us and putting us there.
Finally, I’d like to thank all the blogs that have featured our work!
As you can see, lots of wonderful things happened for Party Patisserie this year for which I’m so very grateful!
Now, on to the hard part. This has also been a very difficult year for me! Most of you don’t know that I lost my mother, my best friend! She passed away in late October. She had a very difficult year and I have been traveling back and forth to be with her a lot. Because of this, I wasn’t able to post regularly and that’s why I thank you for hanging in there with me.
My mother was the epitome of grace and accepted everything she had to go through. She taught me so much and I loved her dearly!!! She was a wonderfully loving and beautiful lady! She was also so gifted. Not only was she a fantastic mother, wife, teacher but she was so artsy and creative. She taught me to cook, to bake, to sew and to be the best mom and wife I can be and to always Trust in the Lord. She always made everything look beautiful and wanted to make others happy and feel loved.
So, going forward into 2014, I will miss you dearly mom, for you are always, always in my heart! I will miss our conversations and our days together. You taught me everything and always encouraged me to follow my heart.
So, in honor of my mother, 2014 is going to be an amazing year! I will follow my heart and try to bring you, my readers, a great year of blogging and inspiration.
HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!!!!!
