Glitter Tree Garland

December 8, 2014 by Party Patisserie Filed Under: Decorate Leave a Comment

Hello, everyone! We have another great DIY for you today. I just love things sparkly, especially during the holidays, and this darling glitter Christmas tree garland sure does the trick!

It’s especially pretty hanging from our metallic gold twine.  When the light hits it, well, it’s just so pretty!

It makes a great backdrop, don’t ya think?

If you’re a DIY’er, follow the directions below. If you’re running out of time and would like to purchase it, we have it available in our Party Patisserie shop

So let’s get started:

: Materials: 2 sheets of gold metallic glitter paper;  gold metallic twine;   double-stick tape; and a Christmas tree paper punch.

Punch out as many trees as you can from both sheets.

This is a a double-sided garland so you can see the sparkle on both sides. Turn the tree face down and place a piece of double-sided tape or glue towards the top and push the twine across it.

Put another piece of double-stick tape or glue, vertically on the tree and put another tree on top, lining up the edges.

When placing the second tree, decide how far apart you’d like them. Mine is about and inch and half apart.

Continue until it’s as long as you’d like it to be.

There so much places you can use this garland. It will work right through New Year’s too!

Have a great day!  (We are currently under construction, and working out the tweaks. Thanks for your patience:)
