Shamrock S’mores for St. Patrick’s Day

March 8, 2015 by Party Patisserie Filed Under: Cook Leave a Comment

Hello everyone! St. Patrick’s Day is right around the corner and everything seems to be turning green. So, why not marshmallows? Yes, I dyed my marshmallows green.

Smore1

You may remember my Valentine Marshmallows (refer here for recipe) I used the same recipe here just substituting the green food coloring. Add the coloring after is it all mixed and stir in quickly then pour into the pan. After I poured the marshmallow in the pan I thought the green was too light so I added a few drops to one side of the pan and swirled it in with a toothpick. It sets up so fast and that is the reason it appears a little bumpy. (I only added it to one side of the pan in case I didn’t like the way it turned out.

I cut them out using the shamrock cookie cutter from both sides of the pan.

Since we’re making Shamrock Smore’s, you’ll need to cut several graham crackers.

Choose your favorite chocolate and melt it for dipping the graham crackers. Dipping twice will make it richer.

Place the marshmallow on the graham cracker.

I think I could eat them just like this.

Now add the top cracker.

Hope you enjoyed the Shamrock S’Mores.

Enjoy your St. Patrick’s Day treat!
