Can you believe it’s already the Fourth of July?
We’ve had a chilly June here in Chicago, so it’s hard to believe July is already upon us!
I’m hosting a get-together for the holiday this year, and have been searching high and low for some fun, different ideas to make this year’s party special.
Here are some of my favorite finds and ideas:
1. Lawn stars
Use spray paint or flour to create a perfectly star-spangled lawn.
This cute printable banner adds just the right amount of festive flair to a backyard BBQ.
Fill these fun ceramic dishes with red, white and blue gumballs, M&Ms, Sixlets, jelly beans or any other candy you can think of to wow your guests and satisfy their sweet tooth.
Few things say “summer” better than a corn dog! Add this surprisingly simple recipe to your cookout menu.
Fill these little baskets with treats to take with you to watch the fireworks!
And you probably thought ice cream cones couldn’t get any cuter.
This playful garland looks like confetti on a string! Hang some on your patio umbrella, a dessert table—anywhere you want a little extra color and pizzazz.
Everyone loves Oreos. Try giving yours a punch of patriotic color!
Fill these adorable boxes with popcorn, pretzels, candy or any other treat to easily take some snacks with you to watch the fireworks. Or put them around your party so guests can munch while they mingle.
10. Raspberry cheesecake popsicles
Cheesecake popsicles? Yes, please.
11. Frozen smoothies
Can’t you just imagine how refreshing these must taste on a hot summer day?
Sip that frozen smoothie with these star-spangled straws!
