Hello everyone! Hope you’re all enjoying your summer so far! I have been!
Today I have a pretty and easy DIY centerpiece for you. If you have these two items then you’re practically there.
Gorgeous flowers and…
…party straws. I said it was easy. Our Pretty Party Straw Centerpiece. I actually got this idea when I was cutting down these long stem roses to fit into my 5 inch tall container.(why you ask would I cut down long stem roses? Well, when they are about 4 days old they begin to look a little worn so I refresh them by cutting them down and taking out the bad ones). I had some party straws left over on the counter and thought I’d try something new since they were the same colors as my roses.
Fill the mason jar with water and place in the center of larger container. Stand the straw against the container and cut it off just slightly above the rim of your tallest container.
Using that straw as your guide, cut several straws the same height and begin to drop them in between the containers.
I alternated my colors.
Cut your stems to the desired height.
I just love the way it turned out! It’s so cheery and summery. Might have to use this for my next party!
Have a cheery day!
