How to throw an award-winning Oscars party

February 17, 2016 by Party Patisserie Filed Under: Celebrate Leave a Comment

Let’s be honest: We’ve all wondered what it would be like to be a celebrity. (Come on. I can’t be the only one!)

While I (and probably you) have not become movie star, there is one night a year when I like to pretend I am one—the night of the Academy Awards!

Who doesn’t like inviting all their girlfriends over, dressing up glamorously, sipping champagne and discussing your favorite movies (and movie stars!) from the past year? Plus, it’s a great way to find out which movies you need to Netflix next!

Oscar Night is next Sunday (Feb. 28). If you’re hosting a watch party this year (and you obviously should), below are a few fun items from our shop that will help make it unforgettable.

Also check out this post for fun food, favor and game ideas, and to get a free printable for Oscar Bingo!

Here’s what you should check out in the shop:

I don’t want to brag, but indulge me for a minute. This Glitter Bowtie Confetti is seriously cool! It’s sturdy enough to be used more than once, and bigger than typical confetti so you don’t need to use as much of it. Plus, it’s sparkly! Need I say more?

Check out these cuties, too:
