Let’s be honest: The best part of Halloween is the candy.
And when you display it on a charcuterie board, it’s like the grown-up version of trick-or-treating!

This is a great piece to put out at a Halloween party, because guests can nibble on it all night. (And it’s more fun to dig around this skeleton for the perfect bite than to pluck a piece of candy out of a boring old serving bowl.) 🙂
This board is also incredibly easy to put together. I simply laid out a Halloween-themed place mat on a charcuterie board, and propped up a skeleton decoration on top. Then I sprinkled an assortment of candy around the board. I recommend using candies that are a variety of sizes and shapes to add a little interest.
I already had the skeleton (I just added googly eyes to give him some personality), but you can find a similar one at any craft store, or HomeGoods or Target. I bought the charcuterie board at HomeGoods.
This board is fun, but you can make it as scary as you’d like with the types of candy you use (e.g. ghoulish gummies).
Enjoy!
